MCLA Athletics Department Awards

At the end of the academic year, the Athletics department holds their annual banquet in May.  Below are the departmental honors that are awarded.

Louis Parisien Memorial Award is given annually to the outstanding male student-athlete in memory of Louis Parisien. He was a 1952 graduate of the College who demonstrated excellence in both academics and athletics.

Sue Getchell Award (Sportswoman of the Year) is given annually to that upper-class, female student athlete who has demonstrated excellence in both academics and athletics.  

Outstanding Service Award -This award is presented annually to the student employee or intern who performs their duties with passion, dedication, and demonstrates a commitment to the success of the College's athletics department.

The Steve Green Athletic Service Award (dedicated in May 2009)-The Athletic Recognition Award if presented annually to the individual who has demonstrated continued support and allegiance to the intercollegiate program at the College.

Student Athletic Trainer -Presented to the outstanding graduating senior in the Sports Medicine Program
