Gittens was outstanding as he had his best week of the season for MCLA.  He shot a torrid 15-17 (88%) on the week.  Gittens averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, and a steal for the Trailblazers.

Against Framingham State, Gittens came off the bench to score 10 points on a perfect 5-5 shooting night.  He collected 7 rebounds in the game as well.  He would follow that up with a season best 22 point effort against Worcester State.  The first year guard made 10-12 field goals and snagged 5 more rebounds.

For the season, Gittens is averaging 8.4 points and 6.1 rebounds for head coach Derek Shell.

Gittens and the Trailblazers are off this week and will close the regular season on Saturday at Westfield State in a key MASCAC tilt.
