Hobbs tabbed as second team All MASCAC selection

Buzzards Bay, MA- MCLA junior outfielder Kendra Hobbs was named to the All MASCAC second team following a vote of the league's coaches. The honor is the first selection for Hobbs in a Trailblazer uniform.
The Haverhill, MA native batted .238 on the season, however led MCLA with 10 extra base hits. She tallied four home runs and drove in 14 runs throughout the season. Hobbs also led the Trailblazers with 20 runs scored on the season.
Hobbs emerged on a Trailblazer team that finished with a mark of 6-33. Her presence in the lineup took shape during an eight game hitting streak in which she blasted all four of her homers.
Bridgewater State's Jennifer Shaw was tabbed as the MASCAC player of the year. Bridgewater's Amber White and Worcester's Hannah Everson shared the pitcher of the year honors, while Framingham State's Tiffany Agostini was selected as the rookie of the year. The Turfer coach of the year was Jennifer Kapenas of Worcester.
