Wehner selected to play in NEWBA senior All Star Game
MCLA senior forward Jen Wehner was one of two MASCAC players selected to play in the NEWBA All Star game.
South Hadley, MA- MCLA senior forward Jen Wehner has been selected to participate in the NEWBA (New England Women's Basketball Association) all star game on Saturday, March 24th at 1:00pm at Western New England University. Wehner is one of 22 seniors throughout the region selected to play.
The all star game is rapidly becoming a showcase event featuring the top senior players within the region.
Wehner concluded an outstanding career in which she finished as the all time leading scorer and rebounder in program history. She led MCLA in scoring her final three seasons in a Trailblazer uniform. The Cooperstown, NY native finished with 1,606 points.
Wehner and Bridgewater State's Shelley DePina are the only MASCAC representatives. Below is the list of players who will participate:
