Trailblazers beaten on the road by Sage

Troy, NY- The MCLA Women's tennis team fell to Sage 9-0 in a match held this afternoon in Troy, NY.  With the setback, MCLA falls to 0-2 on the young season.

MCLA junior Carrie Richards was the top performer for the Trailblazers competing in the 2nd singles slot, while teaming with Laura Laureano in the top doubles spot.  Richards fought hard in her singles match, coming up just short in the second set, falling 7-5 after dropping the opener 6-1. 

In the doubles match, the MCLA duo fought hard, but ultimately fell 8-6.  Complete match results are listed below:
