MCLA volleyball snapped a five game losing streak today with a pair of non-conference victories at home today. The Trailblazers dispatched of Becker 3-0 by scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-11. The Trailblazers got contributions up and down the roster as Becker fell to 1-7 on the season.
Kayla Bromback led with eight kills and freshman Taylor Warnock finished with five. Brittany Kish had fourteen assists and fellow freshman Reagan Parrelli added seven. Sam Barbarotta and two others each had three service aces and Kelley Bryant and Allie Chang had ten digs.
It was more of the same for MCLA in game two as they downed Green Mountain 3-0. The Trailblazers won by scores of 25-13, 25-18 and 25-13. The victories put MCLA at 4-9 on the season. Seniors Kayla Bromback and Hayley Gundersen combined for eleven kills; Gundersen also added four aces. Kish added seventeen more assists.
MCLA will be at Sage on Tuesday at 7:00pm.
