Trailblazers Fall in New Jersey
The MCLA volleyball team traveled down to New Jersey to face the host Kean College and Potsdam St. in a Saturday afternoon tri-match.
The MCLA volleyball team traveled down to New Jersey to face the host Kean College and Potsdam St. in a Saturday afternoon tri-match. The Trailblazers continue to struggle however as they have now lost six straight after dropping a pair. The Trailblazers fall to 4-15 as Kean moves to 9-10 and Potsdam goes to 13-8.
MCLA dropped the opening match to Potsdam 3-0 by scores of 25-23, 25-9 and 25-17; however no individual stats were available at press time for the early game.
The Trailblazers dropped game two 3-0 to the host Cougars by scores of 25-12, 25-20 and 25-13. In the second game Kayla Bromback had four kills and Kelley Bryant added three. Brittany Kish had six assists. Bryant added nine digs, while Julia Christian and Hayley Gundersen added five apiece.
The schedule gets a little more favorable for MCLA as they look to snap its losing streak Thursday night at Green Mountain at 7:00 PM.
