Volleyball handles Bard (3-2) and CCNY (3-1)
The MCLA Volleyball team got a pair of much needed wins over Bard and CCNY this afternoon at Bard College. The Trailblazers are now 7-15 after winning three straight matches.
Annandale-on-Hudson, NY- The MCLA Volleyball team got a pair of much needed wins over Bard and CCNY this afternoon at Bard College. MCLA beat Bard in the opener in their first five set match of the year. MCLA was actually down two games to one before rallying to win game four and game five. The Trailblazers took the decisive game 15-11. Kayla Bromback had a season-high 24 kills to lead MCLA to victory. Taylor Warnock added 8 kills for MCLA. Brittany Kish had 35 assists and Reagan Parrelli added 15. Kelley Bryant had 14 digs. Bard dropped to 3-16.
MCLA took the second game in four games over City College of New York. MCLA won the pivotal game three 29-27 after splitting the first two games. CCNY falls to 3-17 and the Trailblazers are now 7-15 after winning three straight matches. MCLA hopes to pick up its first conference win on Monday when they take on Mass. Maratime at 12:30pm.
