Trailblazers split on opening day of Continental Classic

Hamilton, NY- The MCLA volleyball team lost its opener to Keuka College 3-0 before rallying in the evening match against Cobleskill, defeating the Tigers 3-0 for a split on the opening day of the Continental Classic at Hamilton College.
With the split, the Trailblazers are now 11-18 on the season heading into day two of the event.
In the opener against Keuka, MCLA fell by scores of 25-13, 25-19, and 25-10. Kayla Bromback led MCLA with six kills while Taylor Warnock added five. Brittany Kish added 19 assists in the loss.
The Trailblazers would handle Cobleskill in the nightcap, winning by scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-23. Bromback was solid again collecting 16 kills, while Kish chipped in with 26 assists.
MCLA will open play today against Trinity (CT) before playing the host institution Hamilton College.
