MCLA falls to Kean and Rowan in Rebel Games

The MCLA softball team fell to 1-5 losing to both Rowan and Kean in the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fl. The Trailblazers have a pair of games tomorrow as they continue the Florida Swing.

Kissimmee, Fl-  The Trailblazers fell to both Kean University 8-0 and Rowan College 7-1 in their fifth and sixth games of the Rebel Spring series. In their first game against Kean, sophomore Hadley Ameen started by pitched two innings and earning three strikeouts. Ameen was soon relieved by freshman pitcher Sarah Greenwood, who gave up no runs and allowed only a single base hit the entire game.

In their game against Rowan, Greenwood again pitched a solid six innings letting only 5 batters get hits. Freshman right fielder Kendra Hobbs drove in the lone run for the Trailblazers, which was scored by Ameen.
