Trailblazers earn the NSCAA Silver Award for Ethics in 2012
The MCLA Women's Soccer program has recieved the NSCAA Silver Award for Ethics, marking the fourth consecutive year the Trailblazers have claimed the honor.
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Women's Soccer program has recieved the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Silver Award for Ethics. The honor marks the fourth straight season in which the Trailblazers' program has recieved an ethics award.
The NSCAA awards Gold, Silver, and Bronze honors. The Gold award is presented to those institutions that recieve zero cards throughout their season. The Silver award is presented to those institutions that recieve no red cards and less than five yellow cards. A Bronze award is presented to schools that recieve no more than 10 cards.
The Trailblazers are one of 48 programs, both male and female, to earn the silver award. MCLA has been the recipient of such awards in 10 of the last 11 seasons, including the gold award a year ago. 74 programs in all were honored.
