MCLA drops pair of matches in Keuka tournament
The MCLA Volleyball team fell to tournament host Keuka 3-1 this morning before falling 3-0 to Canton this afternoon.
Keuka Park, NY- The MCLA Volleyball team fell to tournament host Keuka 3-1 this morning before falling 3-0 to Canton this afternoon. The Trailblazers are now 0-6 on the season.
This morning, MCLA jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after winning the opener 25-22. The Trailblazers couldn't keep up the momentum though as Keuka rallied to take the next three games. Keuka earned a 25-16 win in game two before cruising to 25-9 and 25-7 victories in the next two games.
In the nightcap versus Canton, which was a rematch of a game played last night, SUNY won three straight games to earn the win. They won the opener 25-11 followed by a 25-13 win in game two. Canton closed out MCLA with a 25-18 victory in game three.
MCLA will look to get on track on Tuesday night when they open at home against MASCAC foe Worcester State at 7pm.
