Trailblazers serve their way to victory over Hornets
Trailblazers serve a total of 25 aces in 3-1 win over visiting Hornets.
North Adams, MA- The Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts defeat the visiting Lyndon State Hornet 3-1 this evening. The Trailblazers improve to 8-14 while the Hornets fall to 2-14.
The Trailblazers came out hot winning game one 25-16, but then fell in a close game two 25-22. They would win back to back sets to put away the match (25-12, 25-15).
Teammates Angelica Perfido and Courtney Parent combined for 9 aces in game one and a total 18 on the evening. Brittany Kish chipped in with a game high 21 assists.
For the visiting Hornets, Taylor Young had 4 kills and 6 digs while Laura Drake had a team high 10 digs.
The Trailblazers look to improve on October 16th when they travel to conference opponent Westfield State. Match time set for 7:00 PM. The Hornets will host a tri-match this Saturday, first game at 1:00 PM.
