MCLA holds successful Golf Classic, honors Judge Paul Perachi

Pittsfield, MA- The MCLA Athletics Department, in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement, held the 14th annual MCLA Golf Classic yesterday at Berkshire Hills Country Club.  The event honored former trustee and athletic hall of fame member, Judge Paul Perachi '63, M.Ed. '70.  Covidien was this year's President's Club Title Sponsor, and the event raised over $17,000 for College athletics programs. .

The 18 hole scramble format was played under sunny, yet windy conditions at Berkshire Hills.  Players enjoyed the spectacular views and tremendous course conditions.  The Classic began with a barbecue as players arrived, followed by a shotgun start at noon.

Following the round, a banquet dinner was held in honor of Perachi.  The Judge was presented with a plaque and a College chair for his service on the Board of Trustees.
