Baseball selected 8th in MASCAC preseason poll
The MCLA Baseball team was picked to finish 8th in the MASCAC preseason poll released this morning by the conference offices.

North Adams, MA- The MCLA baseball team was selected to finish 8th in the MASCAC preseason poll announced by the league offices this morning. Defending regular season and tournament champion Salem State was tabbed as the favorite by the league's coaches.
The Trailblazers finished just 2-12 a year ago in the MASCAC earning wins over Fitchburg State and conference rival Westfield State. MCLA is under the direction of 11th year head coach Jeff Puleri and returns eight starters from a year ago.
MCLA will open their season on March 7th in the RussMatt Invitational in Winter Haven, Fl against the Eastern Mennonite (VA) Royals.
Salem State claimed seven first place votes to easily outdistance Framingham State for the top spot. Bridgewater State earned the other first place vote and finished third. Rounding out the poll were Westfield State, Worcester State, Massachusetts Maritime, Fitchburg State, and MCLA.
