Baseball to open play this weekend kicking off 38-game 2023 slate
The MCLA Baseball team will open its 2023 season at Yeshiva this weekend
North Adams, MA- The MCLA Baseball team will travel to Yeshiva University this Sunday for an opening day double-header to kick-off its 2023 schedule. The Trailblazers will play 38 games in total including 17 nonconference and 21 MASCAC games.
The squad will head south for spring break to Central Florida to compete in the annual RussMatt Tournament for eight games between March 10th and March 16th and return to visit RPI on March 22nd and Springfield College for a twin bill on March 25th.
The Trailblazers will open conference play with a three-game series against Bridgewater State with the opener at home on Friday, March 31st.
After a nonconference visit to Elms on April 4th, MCLA will take on MASCAC rival Worcester State on April 6th before hosting the Lancers for a double-header on the 7th.
Following a trip to Dean College on April 11th, the Trailblazers return to conference play for 4 league games including a three-game series against Framingham State (April 14th and 15th) and a Patriot's Day game at home against Westfield State on April 17th.
The Trailblazers will be at Skidmore on April 19th and then play a stretch of eight MASCAC games against Mass Maritime for three (April 21st and 22nd), at Westfield State for two on April 25th and three-game series against Fitchburg State on April 28th and 29th.
MCLA will host local foe Williams College on May 2nd before wrapping up the regular season in a three-game MASCAC series at Salem State on May 5th and at home with a double-header on May 6th.
