Baseball Releases 2024 Schedule
The MCLA Baseball program has announced its 2024 schedule.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— For the third consecutive season, the MCLA Baseball team will open its 2024 campaign at Yeshiva University on February 25th. This season's 38-game schedule will see the Trailblazers play 16 nonconference games and a 21-game MASCAC conference slate.
Following their opening day, nonconference doubleheader at Yeshiva, MCLA will head south for their annual spring break trip to Central Florida to compete in the RussMatt Tournament for eight games between March 7th and March 15th, with games against teams from Maine, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. They then return north to visit RPI on March 20th before their home opener on March 23rd in a doubleheader against Springfield College.
The Trailblazers open conference play with a three-game series hosting Worcester State on March 28th, then traveling to Worcester on the 29th for a twin bill.
After a nonconference tilt at Elms College on April 3rd, MCLA visits Framingham State on April 5th, then hosts the Rams for two on the 6th. On April 12th, the Trailblazers kick off a three-game weekend series with Mass Maritime on April 12th before the trek to Buzzard's Bay for two on the 13th.
After their April 15th Patriot's Day trip to Westfield State, MCLA will near the conclusion of its nonconference schedule at Williams on the 16th and at home against Skidmore on the 17th. All that will remain is a matchup at Dean College on April 24th.
From there, it is an eleven-game sprint to the finish line in which the Trailblazers take on MASCAC foes Fitchburg State (away 4/19, home for two on 4/20), Westfield State (home 2/23 doubleheader), Bridgewater State (away 4/26, home for two in 4/27) and Salem State (home 5/3, away for two on 5/4).
