Baseball Falls at Framingham State
MCLA lost 23-4 at Framingham State this afternoon in MASCAC Baseball action
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The MCLA Baseball team took to the road this afternoon for a MASCAC matchup with Framingham State at Bowditch Field. The Rams unleashed a 23-hit attack to score 23 runs, led by home runs by Christian Cox and Steven Burbank.

- The Rams were paced by a 4-for-6 performance at the plate from Christian Cox. Cox was just a double shy of hitting for the cycle as he tripled, homered, scored three runs and drove in four.
- Johnny Lynch went 6-for-6 at the plate in the game scoring three runs and driving in four, while Rosco Palmer went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI.
- Massimo Mondi went 2-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored and three RBI, while Steven Burbank went 2-for-3 with a homer, a run scored and three RBI.
- Nicholas Kutcher started on the mound for the Rams but did not factor in the decision. Kutcher went four scoreless innings allowing just four hits.
- Alexander Montero earned the victory by tossing a scoreless inning in relief. Ben Respress, Matthew DeCarney and Christian Morrissey also tossed scoreless innings in relief.
UP NEXT:
On Friday, MCLA will be back in action when it travels to the Commodore William R. Hendy Field and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy for a MASCAC matchup with the Buccaneers. The first pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
