HOW IT HAPPENED
- Williams got on the scoreboard first, plating a pair of runs on two hits in the bottom of the first, including an RBI single by James O'Connor.
- MCLA scored all three of their runs in the top of the fourth inning. Senior designated hitter Joshua Bissaillon (East Greenbush, NY) led off with his fourth home run of the season, pulling a shot to left field.
- Junior first baseman Chris Vargas (Queens Park, NY) then followed with a triple before scoring on a squeeze bunt by freshman shortstop Roshan Warriar (Pittsfield, MA). A sacrifice bunt by sophomore outfielder Joe Sardo (Great Neck, NY) moved him to second. A single to left-center by sophomore third baseman Dariel Rodriguez (Bronx, NY) put runners on the corners, setting up an RBI single by freshman catcher Caleb Welcome (Rensselaer, NY) that put the Traiblazers ahead 3-2.
- The lead would hold until the bottom of the fifth inning when the Ephs posted their first of three consecutive multi-run innings. O'Connor notched his second RBI of the game to tie the score at three all. An error allowed Hank Jacobus to score what would be the game winning run while JH Vaughn reached base. Sasha Palma then doubled to plate Vaughn.

- In the bottom of the seventh Williams added four more runs, with the big hit being another for Jacobus who plated two with an RBI single to left-center.
