Roshan Warriar Claims MASCAC Player of the Week Honors
MCLA’s Roshan Warriar has been selected as the MASCAC Player of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— MCLA's Roshan Warriar has been selected as the MASCAC Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.
The sophomore shortstop from Pittsfield, MA batted .625 (5-for-8) with an on-base percentage of .700 and a slugging percentage of .625, while driving in a pair of runs, drawing two walks, stealing two bases, and scoring five runs in MCLA's sweep of Yeshiva University (23-1, 8-5).
Warriar and MCLA are back in action on Wednesday, March 10th, when they travel to Archie Allen Field on the campus of Springfield College for a non-conference matchup with the Pride. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
