Roshan Warriar Claims MASCAC Player of the Week Honors
MCLA’s Roshan Warriar has been selected as the MASCAC Player of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— MCLA's Roshan Warriar (Pittsfield, MA) has been selected as the MASCAC Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.
The sophomore shortstop/pitcher from Pittsfield, MA batted .444 (8-for-18) with a double, a triple, four RBI, three walks, 10 runs scored, and six stolen bases while also posting an on-base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .611 in a 2–3-week period for the Trailblazers. Went 6-for-8 with a double, four RBI, two stolen bases, and four runs scored in the doubleheader split with Maine-Farmington. Had three walks, three stolen bases, and three runs scored in the 6-1 win over Emerson.
Warriar and MCLA will be back in action when it continues its run in the RussMatt Invitational with a double header against Carleton College at 4 p.m. at the Northeast Regional Park (NERP), Field #3 in Davenport, FL.
