- The Rams responded with an early statement, scoring six runs in the bottom of the first inning. Needing only five hits to score the six runs, the big swings were an RBI double to left by Nicholas Kutcher, a two-run single by Rosco Palmer, and back-to-back triples by Zachry Kern and Jakob Lindkvist.
- Framingham added another run in the third inning on a Palmer triple and a Kern sac fly.
- The Rams finished the scoring in the fifth, plating two runs on a Kutcher RBI single and a Kern RBI ground out.

- The Trailblazers broke through for the first run of the game in the fourth inning, pushing a run across with a bases-loaded walk by William Whitcomb (North Haven, CT) to score Gavin Pettit (Southington, CT).
- FSU was able to level the score in the bottom of the sixth inning by stringing together a walk by Colin Johnson, a sac bunt by Massimo Mondi, and a single by Christian Cox.
- The home team then only needed two batters in the bottom of the seventh to win in walk-off fashion behind a lead-off triple by Kutcher and an RBI single to center by Palmer.
- Josh Sunderland threw a complete game, five-hitter, striking out 11 against two walks to level his record at 1-1.
