Greenberg collects Player of the Week honors

MCLA Junior forward Jon Greenberg was named the MASCAC player of the week. Greenberg averaged a double-double in a 2-1 week for the Trailblazers.

MCLA junior forward Jon Greenberg was named the MASCAC Men's Basketball player of the week announced Sunday by the MASCAC. Greenberg has led MCLA to a 2-1 start thus far in 2009. 

Greenberg (Antwerp, Belgium) averaged a double double thru the first three games. For the week he averaged 17.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks, including 28 points and 16 rebounds in 111-70 victory over Albany Pharmacy to go with 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in 68-66 victory over host Hartwick at Tom Greene Memorial Invitational. 

Greenberg and MCLA are back in action Tuesday when they host Sage at 6pm.
