Greenberg tabbed MASCAC player of the Week
MCLA forward Jon Greenberg has been named the MASCAC player of the week as announced this morning by the league offices. Greenberg averaged 17.5 points and 10 rebounds on the week, he also tallied his 1,000th career point on Tuesday.
Buzzards Bay, MA- MCLA forward Jon Greenberg has been named the MASCAC player of the week as announced this morning by the league offices. Greenberg averaged 17.5 points and 10 rebounds on the week, he also tallied his 1,000th career point on Tuesday against Hartwick.
Greenberg, a first team All MASCAC selection last season, notched his milestone with a free throw early in the first half against Hartwick. He would go on to finish his night with 14 points. His best effort of the week came in Sunday's setback at Williams. In that game, he finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. He shot a sizzling 63% from the field on the week.
MCLA is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Albany College of Pharmacy, before hosting St. Joseph's (VT) in the Tri-State Shootout Friday.
