Greenberg earns second consecutive MASCAC honor
Fresh off being named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tri-State Shootout, MCLA forward Jon Greenberg was named the MASCAC player of the week for the second time in as many weeks.
Buzzards Bay, MA- MCLA senior forward Jon Greenberg has been named the MASCAC player of the week for the second consecutive week. He shared the honor this week along with Samuel Johnson of Bridgewater. He was the lone recipient a week ago.
Greenberg averaged 21.3 points and 12 boards during MCLA's three game winning streak. He culminated the week by being named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tri-State Shootout off his 27 point, 18 rebound performance in the championship game against RPI. The Trailblazers would defeat the Engineers 85-76.
MCLA went 3-0 last week defeating Albany Pharmacy before dispatching St. Joseph's (VT) and RPI in the shootout.
For the season, Greenberg is averaging 18.8 ppg and 11.2 rebounds. MCLA will travel to Keene State tomorrow night to face the Owls.
