Becker collects another Rookie of the Week honor
MCLA freshman center Chris Becker earned his third MASCAC rookie of the week honors today
North Adams, MA- MCLA freshman center Chris Becker has once again been tabbed as the MASCAC rookie of the week after another outstanding performance. Becker has now claimed the last two, and three of the last four, conference rookie honors. Dimitri St. Louis of Bridgewater State was the Player of the Week.
Becker had just one contest this past week, but it was a good one. He notched 19 points with four rebounds and two assists in MCLA's 89-72 win over Elms last Tuesday. Becker was efficient again as he went 9-12 from the floor. He continues to lead the conference in FG% at 65.6%. Becker ranks inside the top 20 nationally as well.
He has helped MCLA to a 6-4 start after wrapping up first semester action. Becker and the Trailblazers are off until January 4th when they take on Norwich.
