Showers earns first MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor
MCLA's Tyler Showers collected the first MASCAC rookie of the week honor as announced this afternoon

North Adams, MA- MCLA first year men's basketball player Tyler Showers (Chicago, IL) has been selected as the MASCAC rookie of the week. The conference announced the awards this afternoon and marks the first honor for Showers.
Westfield State's JT Thompson was selected as the conferences player of the week.
Showers and the Trailblazers debuted on Friday night when they hosted Castleton in a high scoring affair. Showers came off the bench to score 15 points on 6-9 shooting. He added three rebounds to his stat line in a 94-82 loss to the Spartans.
Showers will look to build off that performance on Tuesday night. The Trailblazers head up to Norwich to battle the Cadets in non league play.
