Men’s Basketball Taken Down on the Road at Williams College
MCLA dropped a non-conference game at Williams College this evening.
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The MCLA Men's Basketball team traveled down route 2 to their nearest neighbor for a non-conference matchup with the Williams College Ephs. The game is the third time that the Trailblazers played in the Chandler Gymnasium, including the a win over SUNY Morrisville at the Purple and Gold Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ephs opened the game with a four minute, 9-0 run that was snapped by floating jump shot by junior guard Kamau Franks (Converse, TX) to get MCLA on the scoreboard.
- Things did not get much better for the Trailblazers from there and the teams would head into the locker room with the home team ahead 39-17. A lone bright spot for MCLA was junior guard Colin Quinn (South Hadley, MA) who cracked the double-digit point threshold before the intermission, scoring 10 of his team-high 13 points in the first half.
- The second half played out much like the first with Williams starting the half with another run to pull away from the Trailblazers. For the Ephs, Matt DeVine scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half.
- The Ephs' saw a game-high 16 points from Aidan Yates, joining DeVine in the double-digit club along with Hudson Hansen (11 points) and Jackson Rein (10 points).
- MCLA's senior forward Jaxen Potter (Ballston Spa, NY) and Williams' Justin Belcher both recorded a game-high seven rebounds.
