Frank Field Named MASCAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Frank Field (Adams, MA) has been selected as the MASCAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.

The freshman guard averaged a double-double in three games this week, posting 15 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, shooting 35.3% (6-for-17) from beyond the arc and going a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. Had a career-best 22 points and 10 rebounds in an 83-82 nonconference win over New England College.

Field and MCLA are back in action this Wednesday when they play host to Norwich University in the Amsler Campus Center Gymnasium for a non-conference matchup with the Cadets. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
