Williams Named MASCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
MCLA’s Craig Williams has been selected as the MASCAC Player and Rookie of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Craig Williams (Dover, DE) has been selected as the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week as announced by the league earlier today.
The senior guard scored a career-high 33 points, shooting 52.9% (9-for-17) from the field and 83.3% from the free throw line (15-for-18) while also grabbing eight rebounds along with a steal and a block leading MCLA to an 82-80 nonconference overtime victory over Norwich University.
Williams and MCLA will be back in action on January 2nd when they travel to the George W. Stannard Gymnasium at VTSU-Lyndon for a non-conference matchup with the Hornets. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
