Williams Collects MASCAC Conference Honor
MCLA’s Craig Williams has been named to the MASCAC Men’s Basketball All-Conference First Team.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The MASCAC conference office today announced that senior guard Craig Williams (Dover, DE) has been named to the MASCAC Basketball All-Conference First Team.
Westfield State University's Kenney Rogers, Jr., was named Player of the Year, while Worcester State University's Johnny Annan picked up Defensive Player of the Year. Worcester State's Joe Okla was named Rookie of the Year, and Westfield State's Rich Sutter was named the BSN Sports Coach of the Year.
Williams was third in the MASCAC with 19.8 points per game and second in the conference with 496 points scored. His scoring prowess included a 43.4% shooting percentage from behind the three-point arc (3rd in the MASCAC), 78.6% at the charity stripe (6th in the MASCAC), and 43.7 % from the field (16th in the MASCAC). The senior set a new career high with 33 points against Norwich University on December 12, 2025, but saved his best performances for MASCAC play, recording double-doubles of 25 points and 10 rebounds at Bridgewater State on January 17, 2026, and 21 points and 10 rebounds in the MASCAC playoff quarterfinal round on February 25, 2026.
Joining Williams on the All-MASCAC First Team were Fitchburg State's Jalen Jackson, Salem State's Ali Barry, Westfield State's Rogers, and Worcester State's Annan and Okla.
The All-MASCAC Second Team included Anna Maria College's Lucas Miglioncio, Bridgewater State's Zach Taylor, Framingham State's Joshua Sait Jean, and Westfield's Xavier Lewis.
