MCLA Finishes 12th at Worcester Invitational

Sterling, MA - The MCLA Trailblazers Golf team finished 12^th at the Worcester Invitational Golf Tournament at the Sterling National Golf Course in Sterling, MA. The Trailblazers were one of four MASCAC teams participating in the spring tournament. The Trailblazers finished behind Salem State and Worcester State on the day, but ahead of conference rival Westfield State.

Ed Cano (Cambridge, NY) was the top Trailblazer on the day finishing tied for 25^th. Cano shot an 80, which was 9 over for the par 71 at Sterling National.  Matt Douglas (Whitehall, NY), Brandon Sullivan (Dalton, MA), Shane Ortega (Pittsfield, MA) and Matt Babue (Adams, MA) were the other participants for MCLA.  

The Invitational is one of two spring events for the MCLA golf team. MCLA golf coach David Bond will lead his charges down to M.I.T. for their final tournament this weekend. They will tee it off Saturday at 11:00am at the Stowe Acres Country Club.
