Ortega finishes second at Castleton event

Sophomore Shane Ortega finished second this afternoon carding a 5 over par 75 at Rutland Country Club. MCLA finished third in the event.

Results

Rutland, VT- Sophomore Shane Ortega (Pittsfield, MA) fired a five over par 75 to earn a second place finish in the Spartan Classic at Rutland Country Club.  As a team, MCLA finished third in very wet and windy conditions. 

Following Ortega was Adam Ciborowski who shot an 84.  MCLA is back on the links on October 11th when they travel to Westfield.
