Ortega paces MCLA again, Traiblazers finish 7th at Elms Invitational

Chicopee, MA- MCLA junior Shane Ortega finished fourth off a round of two over par 74, but the Trailblazers would finish in 7th place at the Elms Invitational held at Westover Golf Club.
Ortega carded his 74 off the heels of a one under par 35 on the front nine. He would slip a bit on the backside with a 39 to complete his round. This is the fourth consecutive event in which he has finished in the top ten, three of which have been in the top four.
MCLA would finish in the middle of the pack as 15 programs competed. Elms College, the host institution, would grab the tournament title, while Elms' Phil Rurak took individual honors shooting an even par 72.
