Lawrence paces MCLA in season opening Johnson State Invitational
Freshman Matt Lawrence paced MCLA with an 81 this afternoon in the first match of the year for the Trailblazers
Johnson, VT- The MCLA Golf team finished seventh this afternoon in the Johnson State invitational held this afternoon at Rocky Ridge Country Club. Castleton University took home the top honors while their Zach Temple was medalist.
MCLA was paced by Matt Lawrence who shot an 81 in his first collegiate competition. His round placed him in a tie for seventh.
The Trailblazers finished seventh in the nine team field.
Rounding out the scoring for MCLA was Quinn McCormick who ended with an 85, while Nick Bator shot an 89. Reese Dwyer shot a 93 while Josh Fortier had a 94 to round out the scoring for the Trailblazers.
