Stolz Named MASCAC Men’s Hockey Goalie and Rookie of the Week

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— MCLA's Roco Stolz (Denver, CO / Charlotte Rush) has been selected as the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.

The freshman goalie made 40 saves with a .976 save percentage in MCLA's 1-1 overtime shootout victory over MASCAC rival Worcester State.

Stolz and MCLA are back in action this Thursday when they host Anna Maria College at the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink for a MASCAC matchup with the AMCATs. The puck will drop at 6 p.m.
