Rocco Stolz Named MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Co-Rookie of the Week
MCLA’s Rocco Stolz has been selected as the MASCAC Co-Rookie of the Week.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Roco Stoltz (Denver, CO / Charlotte Rush) has been selected as the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the league earlier today.
The freshman went 2-0, leading MCLA to a pair of MASCAC wins this week, posting a 1.50 goals against average along with a .957 save percentage while making 66 combined saves. He had 36 saves in a 4-1 win against Rivier and made 30 stops in a 3-2 victory at Framingham State.
Stolz and MCLA are on winter break but will be back in action on January 2, 2026, when they travel to the Codfish Bowl to face UMass-Boston, Western New England University, and Worcester State University. The Trailblazers will face UMass-Boston in the opener at the Edward T. Barry Ice Rink, with the puck drop scheduled for 1 p.m.
