Quentan Polkowski Named to USILA Team of the Week
MCLA’s Quentan Polkowski has been recognized by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Quentan Polkowski has been recognized with a place on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week for the week ending March 22nd. The USILA is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse..
Polkowski, the sophomore netminder, went 2-0 this week with 4.50 goals against average along with a .775 save percentage making 31 saves in a pair of nonconference road victories for MCLA. The sophomore goalie made 17 saves on 20 shots on goal in a 22-3 win at Centenary (NJ) and stopped 14 of 20 shots in an 8-6 decision at St. Joseph's (LI).
Polkowski and MCLA will be back in action this Saturday when the Trailblazers host Thomas University at Shewcraft Field for a North Atlantic Conference matchup with the Terriers. Face-off is scheduled for noon.
