Quentan Polkowski Named to USILA Team of the Week

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MCLA's Quentan Polkowski has been recognized with a place on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week for the week ending March 22^nd. The USILA is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse..

Polkowski, the sophomore netminder, went 2-0 this week with 4.50 goals against average along with a .775 save percentage making 31 saves in a pair of nonconference road victories for MCLA. The sophomore goalie made 17 saves on 20 shots on goal in a 22-3 win at Centenary (NJ) and stopped 14 of 20 shots in an 8-6 decision at St. Joseph's (LI).

Polkowski and MCLA will be back in action this Saturday when the Trailblazers host Thomas University at Shewcraft Field for a North Atlantic Conference matchup with the Terriers. Face-off is scheduled for noon.
