HOW IT HAPPENED
- With the MCLA fans barely having a chance to warm their seats on a chilly fall night at Shewcraft Field, when Daniel Mosquera (Pittsfield, MA) chipped a pass ahead to Kyle Cardoso (Pittsfield, MA) (6', assisted by Mosquera) in stride just outside the 18-yard box. Cardoso settled the ball and fired a line drive past the Falcons' keeper for his second goal of the season. The helper was the first of the season for Mosquera.
- Fitchburg answered back barely 30 seconds later when Anthony Oliveira-Dalicandro (6', Delgado) headed home a long pass from Gabriel Delgado to level the score. Rick Da Moura (25', Youngquest) was then able to head home a free kick from Nathan Youngquest for the go ahead goal.
- The Falcons maintained that 2-1 lead through half time and for the majority of the second half before tacking on three insurance goals in the final 15 minutes of play. Oliveira-Dalicandro (76', Youngquest) used his head yet again to notch his second goal of the game. Sam Amara (79', unassisted) and Cesar Pinelo (90', unassisted) then salted the game away for the visitors with a pair of unassisted goals, created off turnovers in the MCLA end.
- Fitchburg's Tristan White stopped three of the four shots he faced and improved his record to 3-2-1.
- The Trailblazers' Oliver LeLacheur (Medford, MA) recorded ten saves but still fell to 3-8-0.
