NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The MCLA Men's Soccer team wrapped up their 2025 season this afternoon when they welcomed the Westfield State Owls to Shewcraft field for a MASCAC skirmish. - Westfield jumped out to an early lead, scoring three times in the first half. The goals were credited to Ethan Margolis (23', assisted by Dylan Wesley), Charlie Anischik (25', unassisted), and Andrew Regnier (39', Matias Otero).
- MCLA got on the board before the end of the first half when Ashton Morris (Gansevoort, NY) (40', Muhlestein) headed home a cross from Luke Muhlestein (Salt Lake City, UT). The goal was the first of the season, and first of his collegiate career for Morris while the assist was the first of the season for Muhlestein.
- The teams traded second half goals when the Owls' Aidan Ferguson (62', Ethan Margolis & Tim Tkacz) stretched the visitor's lead back to three goals.
- The Trailblazers cut it back to two when William Bogue (Schenectady, NY) (83', unassisted) converted on a poor clear attempt by a Westfield defender around the penalty stripe.
- Westfield's Luke Theroux stopped six of the eight shots on net he faced to improve his record to 4-2-2. MCLA's Oliver LeLacheur (Medford, MA) took the loss to fall to 3-11-0.
