2017 NAC Men's Tennis All Conference Team

North Adams, MA- The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced that MCLA's Trevor Grimshaw has been tabbed as the Coach of the Year following a vote of the league's coaches. The honor is the first for Grimshaw during his tenure as Trailblazer head coach.

Grimshaw, who is in only his third season at the helm of the Trailblazers, has earned his first NAC East Coach of the Year honor after leading his squad to their second postseason appearance in three seasons.  MCLA, on the heels of a 3-3 conference mark, enters this weekend's NAC East Division Championship Tournament as the No. 4 seed.

Overall, he sports a 12-19 lifetime record with an 8-10 record in conference matches. Over his three year reign, he has coached a pair of All-NAC performers in junior Aaron Goldsmith and senior Rob Wabshinak, as both have been named all-conference honorees every season under his guidance.

Grimshaw also doubles as the women's coach at MCLA.  He took on those duties this past fall after starting as just the men's coach.
