Cancilla earns MASCAC Runner of the Week honors
Men's Cross Country Runner Anthony Cancilla has been named the MASCAC runner of the week following his win at the Castleton State Invitational.

North Adams, MA- MCLA junior Anthony Cancilla has been named the MASCAC Runner of the Week as announced by the league offices. Cancilla shared the honor with Bridgewater's Andy Sukeforth.
Cancilla claimed top honors at the Castleton State Spartan Invitational, crossing the line in the 8K race in 30:21. The win marked the first of the collegiate career for Cancilla. His performance also sparked MCLA to finish second in the team competition.
Cancilla, a Pittsfield native, has been a mainstay in the program throughout his academic career at MCLA. He will look to continue his strong start next weekend as he leads MCLA into the Vermont Tech Invitational on Saturday.
