MCLA Men compete in Elms Invitational
The MCLA Men's Cross Country team ran in the Elms Invitational this afternoon.
Chicopee, MA- The MCLA Men's Cross Country team sent four runners to the Elms Invitational this afternoon. Anthony Cancilla led the Trailblazers with a 23rd place finish. Peter Mayotte crossed the finish line in 41st place.
UNE's men's team posted a team score of 36 points to finish first overall, followed by Westfield State University (47), Connecticut College (75), Trinity College (80), Massachusetts Maritime Academy (155), Rhode Island College (169), Western New England University (181), Regis College (239), Mitchell College (244), Framingham State University (279), Newbury College (303) and Mount Ida College (344).
Westfield State's Tim Shea won the men's 8-kilometer race with a time of 27:20, followed by Trinity's Patrick Hoagland (27:45) and UNE's Cameron Vallie (28:17).
