Softball Announces 2024 Schedule
The MCLA Softball program has released its 2024 schedule.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Under the new leadership of co-head coaches Heath Issacson and Amanda Beckwith, the MCLA Softball program is poised to return to the diamond for its 2024 schedule, which has recently been released. The Trailblazers are set for a 38-game campaign to kick off with a 10-game spring break Florida trip for the Gene Cusic Classic for games with opponents from as close as Connecticut to as far away as Minnesota.
Upon their return, MCLA is slated to compete in 14 doubleheaders against eight nonconference opponents and, of course, their seven familiar MASCAC rivals.
The Trailblazers first visit Albertus Magnus on March 23rd and host Bay Path on March 27th before opening conference play at Worcester State on March 29th.
MCLA then returns for three dates with Elms College (4/2), Anna Maria (4/4), and finally Framingham State on April 6th for their home conference opener against the Rams. Following a trip to SUNY Cobleskill on April 9th, the Trailblazers take on a pair of conference opponents traveling to Mass Maritime on April 13th and hosting Westfield State on Patriot's Day, April 15th.
Following the short trip to Union College on April 17th, MCLA will host Fitchburg State on April 20th and head to New England College on the 21st.
The Trailblazers will wrap up the regular season against MASCAC foes Bridgewater State at home on April 27th and Salem State on the road a week later on May 4th.
