MCLA picked second, collects three first place votes in Preseason Poll
The MCLA Trailblazers were chosen to finish second in the Preseason Poll released this afternoon by the MASCAC. MCLA received three first place votes. Bridgewater State was picked to win the conference.

Buzzards Bay, MA- The MCLA Trailblazers were chosen to finish second in the Preseason Poll released this afternoon by the MASCAC. MCLA received three first place votes. Last season's regular season champion, Bridgewater State, was picked to win the conference. MCLA claimed the tournament title and the subsequent NCAA tournament bid.
MCLA opened its season last night by defeating St. Joseph (CT) 64-54. The Trailblazers return nine players from a year ago, including tournament MVP Jen Wehner and the conference rookie of the Year, Lucy Tremblay.
