Midnight Madness draws large crowd on eve of Basketball season

North Adams, MA- The new bleachers in the Amsler Campus Center Gymnasium were filled with boisterous fans as the MCLA Athletics department held their annual Midnight Madness event last night to kick off the Men's and Women's Basketball seasons.
Each year, the student body comes together to generate excitement for the upcoming season. There were multiple performances from different student groups, including Nexxus, the MCLA Cheerleaders, and the Allegrettos, just to name a few.
The basketball teams were also introduced to the roar of the crowd to cap off the evening.
The Women's program will tip off on November 15th when they host Daniel Webster. The Men's program will begin on the 19th as they host Nichols College.
