North Adams, MA- MCLA first year guard Zaylee Ramos (Worcester, MA) has been named the Women's Basketball MASCAC Player of the Week. Bridgewater State's Kylie Grassi was named as the conference's Player of the Week.
Ramos averaged 21.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals, shooting 38.5% from the three-point line, helping MCLA to a 2-1 week. She had 24 points and eight rebounds in a 73-60 road win at Lesley, 20 points and eight rebounds in a 75-69 setback to Elms, and a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in MCLA's 66-58 win over UMPI yesterday afternoon.
Ramos and the Trailblazers will be back in action tomorrow evening as they travel to West Hartford to take on the University of St. Joseph Blue Jays at 7pm.
