Women’s Hockey set to Kick-off Inaugural Season

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—First year Head Coach Heath Isaacson and the MCLA Women's Ice Hockey team are set to kick-off their 25-game inaugural 2023-2024 season this weekend at Wilkes University where the Trailblazers will face-off twice with the Colonels on Friday and Saturday. It will be the first of nine back-to-back dates this season.

The first ever MCLA home women's ice hockey game will take place on Friday, November 3^rd and is part of another weekend two-game set with Hilbert College. The next two weekends will feature home and home back-to-backs against Anna Maria College (home on November 10^th away on November 11^th) and Worcester State (home November 17^th and away November 18^th).

The Trailblazers will visit Nichols College in a rare mid-week contest on November 21^st before returning home to take on New England College on Saturday, December 2^nd. MCLA wraps up their first semester schedule at the Salem State Tournament on December 8^th and 9^th.

Following the holiday break MCLA returns with five road games including a pair at Hilbert College on January 12^th and 13^th, January 16^th at Willams and January 19^th at Albertus Magnus. The Trailblazers will wrap up the road stint with a trip to Rivier College on January 26^th then face the Raiders at home the next day.

February will bring the final six games of the regular season which are all home and home back-to-back games against Anna Maria (home February 2^nd away February 3^rd), Worcester State (home February 9^th away February 10^th) and Rivier (away February 16^th home February 17^th).

All home games will be played at the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink in North Adams.
