Women’s Hockey set to Kick-off Inaugural Season
MCLA Women’s Ice Hockey program will begin play this weekend at Hibert College
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—First year Head Coach Heath Isaacson and the MCLA Women's Ice Hockey team are set to kick-off their 25-game inaugural 2023-2024 season this weekend at Wilkes University where the Trailblazers will face-off twice with the Colonels on Friday and Saturday. It will be the first of nine back-to-back dates this season.
The first ever MCLA home women's ice hockey game will take place on Friday, November 3rd and is part of another weekend two-game set with Hilbert College. The next two weekends will feature home and home back-to-backs against Anna Maria College (home on November 10th away on November 11th) and Worcester State (home November 17th and away November 18th).
The Trailblazers will visit Nichols College in a rare mid-week contest on November 21st before returning home to take on New England College on Saturday, December 2nd. MCLA wraps up their first semester schedule at the Salem State Tournament on December 8th and 9th.
Following the holiday break MCLA returns with five road games including a pair at Hilbert College on January 12th and 13th, January 16th at Willams and January 19th at Albertus Magnus. The Trailblazers will wrap up the road stint with a trip to Rivier College on January 26th then face the Raiders at home the next day.
February will bring the final six games of the regular season which are all home and home back-to-back games against Anna Maria (home February 2nd away February 3rd), Worcester State (home February 9th away February 10th) and Rivier (away February 16th home February 17th).
All home games will be played at the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink in North Adams.
