Women’s Hockey Drop Conference Game to Framingham
MCLA fell in MASCAC play this evening.
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The MCLA Women's Ice Hockey team welcomed Framingham State to the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink for a MASCAC clash with the Rams. Framingham picked up their first MASCAC win of the season, led by two goals from Sarah Lewis and a 42 save performance by Lila Chamoun.

- Series History: MCLA leads the all-time series 3-1. MCLA took the last meeting of the teams last season on February 8th in North Adams by the score of 2-1. The Trailblazers also won the first ever meeting of the teams by the score of 5-2 in North Adams on November 16, 2024.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Framingham opened the scoring late in the first period with Sarah Lewis (at 18:41 of 1st period, assisted by Amy Tansek) while outshooting the Trailblazers 15-11 in the frame.
- The second period saw the Rams take control, scoring three goals on 23 shots. The goals were scored by Rose Brien (0:49 of 2nd, Webster & Katherine Creath), Amy Tansek (4:03, unassisted), and Lewis (SH, 9:36, Lilly Wilson & Alexis Brown).
- It appeared that the third period would be scoreless until Framingham State added two insurance goals about a minute apart late in the frame. The goals were scored by Jamie Webster (17:53 of 3rd, Brien & Adrianna Rizzotto) and Ruby Boucher (18:56, Alyssa Tansek & Finley Hogan)
- The Rams' Lila Chamoun (1-5-0) recorded 42 saves to pick up her first win of the season and the second shutout of her collegiate career. MCLA's first-year goalie Katherine Moose (Wynnewood, PA / Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) stopped 48 shots but fell to 0-3-0.
