- Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
- Score: Hilbert 2, MCLA 2 (MCLA wins shootout 2-1)

HIGHLIGHTS
- MCLA opened the scoring with sophomore forward Kiera Grom (Livonia, MI / Belle Tire) (7:58 of 1st period, assisted by Bissaillion & Sabeti-Seidel). The play started with first-year forward Brooklyn Ekblad (Williston, ND / Williston High School) digging the puck out of a small scrum in the left corner, passing out to Grom along the boards. Grom sent it out to sophomore defenseman Rozene Sabeti-Seidel (Turner Valley, AB / Rocky Mtn. Raiders) at the right point, who backhanded a pass back to junior defenseman Summer Bissaillion (Blind River, ON / Sudbury Wolves) for a wrister from the slot. The Hawk netminder was up to the task, but couldn't contain the rebound that fell at the feet of Grom, who was crashing the net for the open shot. The goal was Grom's second of the season while Bissaillion was credited with her third assist.
- The Trailblazers doubled their lead in the second period with another play that started in the left corner. This time, it was junior forward Belle Wurmser (Brick, NJ / Princeton Tiger Lillies) who dug the puck out, sending it along the boards to Sabeti-Seidel and then crashing to the net. Wurmser's (17:21 of 2nd period, assisted by Sabeti-Seidel) first effort was stopped, but she stuck with it and was able to poke the rebound in to put MCLA up 2-0. The goal was the first of the season for Wurmser, while the assist was the second of the night and of the season for Sabeti-Seidel.
- The Hawks responded with a pair of goals in the third period, with both being scored less than a minute apart. The first came on a power play and was credited to Victoria Battaglia (PP, 15:49 of the 3rd period, assisted by Moceri and Murphy) when she redirected a shot by Amelia Murphy. Murphy and Megan Moceri were credited with assists, their third and first, respectively. The goal was the third of the year for Battaglia.
- Hilbert found an equalizer less than a minute off the clock later. Jacqueline Alaburda (16:38, Battaglia) was credited with the goal, scoring from a scrum in front of the net. The assist went to Battaglia. The goal was the first of the year for Alaburda, while the assist was the third for Battaglia.
- The teams played to a scoreless overtime period, so the game is listed as a tie in the record book. Still, the Trailblazers converted on both of their shootout attempts, with Sabeti-Seidel and junior forward Nicolette Bardsley (Gilbertsville, PA / Chatham University) scoring on their attempts. Battaglia converted for the Hawks, but junior goalie Kaitlyn O'Brien (Ridley Park, PA / Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) was a wall in net for the second and third attempts to secure the lead for MCLA.
- O'Brien's record improved to 0-5-1 after she stopped 22 of 24 shots. For the Hawks, Brook Thompson's record moved to 0-3-1 as she recorded 64 saves on 66 shots.
